Dedication

These poems are a collection of my life’s experiences. Little flashes of truth frozen in time, and captured with the camera of my pen and emotions of the time. They are a reflection of the different forms and styles it takes to express life’s Chaos.

I wish to thank the many people who made this book possible. They include those who helped me or themselves when I was down, and the strangers who unselfishly stretched out a hand to a fellow traveller.

A special thanks to the Mistresses who have had a huge influence, not only on my own life, but also my fathers. He, like me, did not always choose his Mistresses well. But who can blame either of us for seeking comfort in a storm of discontent.

Their influence helped me fashion the words and poems that reflect the mood of the times that I have been privileged to wander through in this manic life, full of lovely poetic strife. These women, who stung me so well with their love or hate, taught me how to love with their smiles and stings. This book is for them, and their painful joyful gift of uncertainty.
